Health & Safety
Level Up! Vocal Ensemble is committed to the well-being of our members. We maintain the following health protocols in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and update them regularly. If you have any questions on these protocols, you may contact your section leader via Discord or Contact Us via this website for further clarification and guidance.
COVID-19 Vaccination
Proof of full series COVID-19 vaccine and the 2022 bivalent booster shot are required to participate in the ensemble. Members must show either their physical card or a picture of their card at the first rehearsal or event they attend.
Masking
KN-95 or N-95 masks are required at rehearsals, performances, and all official Level Up! events.
Symptom-Free
All members must attest to not having any symptoms of COVID-19 to attend rehearsal, performance, and all official Level Up! events.
Exposure and Testing
Level Up! follows the CDC guidelines found here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/isolation.html
If you were exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19:
Please quarantine for 5 days. Therefore, if a rehearsal, performance, or event falls within your quarantine period, you cannot attend that activity in-person.
If you were exposed AND also potentially exposed other choir members at an event, you must notify a board member or your section leader.
If the Level Up! event occurs after your 5-day quarantine period AND you are not experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, you must take a rapid test and test negative the day of rehearsal to be eligible to attend in-person.
If you experience symptoms OR test positive for COVID-19 within 1 week after you last attended a Level Up! rehearsal or event, you must let a board member or your section leader know through DMs. We will report anonymous exposure to the choir to keep everyone informed of their health risks.
At certain times or instances, Level Up! may require all members to take a rapid test and test negative to minimize further exposure. If testing supplies are not accessible for you, your section leader will provide support and resources.
Rehearsal Space
The rehearsal space is equipped with a HEPA air purifier. Windows will be open at all times during rehearsal no matter the temperature. Social distancing is encouraged.
Water Bottles
You may bring a water bottle and drink it during rehearsal, but you may only lift your mask to drink water and must quickly put it back on after drinking. Food is not permitted at rehearsal.
